Calamari Game Cookie (Dalogna)
Have you watched that TV series and wondered how hard that Dalogna game could be? Well, wonder no more. Here are some very basic steps to create your own and to challenge your friends and family.
Supplies
Some basic supplies that you will need:
- 3 Tablespoons of sugar
- 1/8 Tablespoon of baking soda
- Favorite cookie cutter shape
- Parchment paper
- Pot
- Stir stick
- Stove
Making the Dough
1. In a pot over medium heat, heat the sugar and stir until it is fully melted. It may take awhile but try not to increase the heat or the sugar will burn.
2. Once the sugar is melted, remove from heat and add in the baking soda. Stir thoroughly until the sugar is a consistent color. The transformation is quick and it will look like peanut butter.
Making the Cookie
3. Pour the sugar over the parchment paper, carefully keeping the shape round.
4. Press the cookie with a plate or flat surface, to keep the cookie flat.
5. Press in your favorite cookie cutter shape. Let the cookie cool slightly then remove the cutter.
And that is it... a very simple sugar cookie to challenge your friends to a game of calamari.
