Card Super Glider Plane

This is a neat little plane, which flies very well if made properly.

You Will Need

Some A4 card
2 coins (I used two ps)
A wooden skewer (a plastic straw might work)
Glue (I used hot glue)
Maybe some blu tack

Main Body+Tail

Take your card and fold it in half (the long way). Glue it like this with a glue stick. Cut about 4 cm off (the long way). For the tail I did the same for the wings, but I made it 4 times smaller. Glue them both to your skewer. You might want to shorten it slightly. Stick the big bit of card almost at the end. Fold 1.5cm on the sides up. Now get the smaller bit of card and stick it on the end the same way. Cut near the centre twice and fold the flaps up. Now stick the tail fin on. Cut half a cm from the bottom of this fin and fold. This is the rudder.

Handle and Coin Weights

Fold some paper up and stick it under the skewer, under the big wings. You will hold onto this when you throw the plane. Either stick or blu tack the coins onto the front of the plane, one on the top, one on the bottom.

Tips

You might have to play around with the plane to make it fly straight and well.
Be neat!
Make sure the wings are folded slightly up.
You might want to add elevators on the wings too.
When you stick things down, be sure to reinforce them with more glue on the sides.
HAVE FUN!

I'd really appreciate it if I could get some feedback, this is my first instructable.
