Hello!

Thank you for visiting my Instructable! This time, I created Cardboard Chess! If you were wondering, the pieces are 3D and they fit perfectly in your hands!

Supplies

  • Glue
  • Single-ply cardboard
  • Templates
  • X-acto knife or scissors

Print the Template

First, download the PDF and print the template. Make sure to print it using Adobe Acrobat, and when printing, select the option of "fit".

Glue the Templates on Cardboard

Now that you have printed the templates, we must glue the papers on top of the single-ply cardboard.

Cut Out the Pieces

Now that we have the templates glued onto cardboard, we have to cut out the pieces.

Assemble the Pieces

Do you have the pieces cut out already? 😊

Now we have to assemble the pieces (look at picture 1) and after we have to glue the bottom circle, with the corresponding colors.

Color the Brown Pieces With a Marker

Now that we have all of the pieces cut out and assembled, take a brown marker and color the brown pieces in areas that are not colored brown.

Cut Out the Board

Now that we have all of the pieces cut out we have to cut out the chessboard.
