After you have gathered your supplies for this craft it is time to begin.
In this step you will be assembling your yarn artwork base. To begin brush a small amount of glue on the construction paper in the middle and near all 4 corners. Then place the construction paper on to the cardboard to ultimately glue the construction paper and cardboard together. Glue will take 24 hours to dry. Allow the glue dry before moving on to step 2. If your construction paper is not the same size as the cardboard, after the glue has dried in this step you can cut the excess cardboard off. Or cut to any shape you want for your yarn artwork base.

After the glue on you construction paper cardboard base has dried take the Weld bond glue and your brush and brush glue over the construction paper side of your base to prepare the surface for sticking yarn to the wet glue on the construction paper cardboard base. Move on to step 3 before the glue dries.
You can come up with a design as you go along or have an idea of what you want your design to look like.
Take pieces of yarn (long or short pieces) and place each piece of yarn on to the wet glue on the construction paper wherever you want. Press the yarn down gently as you lay the yarn down onto the wet glue. When your all done applying the yarn, you may need to put a heavy box on your artwork; Then let dry for 24 hours before displaying your artwork.
