In this Instructables, I'll show you how to create beautiful small hats for your Barbie doll. Made from easily available materials, they take a short time to make. I love to create accessories for Barbie dolls. What's more fun than creating miniature clothes and objects for your doll?

These hats are perfect for a beginner, really easy to make.

In this step, you'll be cutting out the pieces from the recycled cardboard.

With a compass, draw the hat pieces.

First draw two circles, one inside the other, the small one with a 1.7 cm radius and the larger one with a 2.5 cm radius. This will be the rim of the hat.

Then, draw one circle with a 2.2 cm radius to create the top part of the hat. This will later be trimmed to fit the hat.

Finally, cut out a 2.6 cm tall piece of the toilet paper roll, making the body of the hat.

Assembling the Pieces

Glue the three pieces together, as show in the image. Cover the edges of the pieces in white glue and then stick them together. You may want to place a heavy object on top to keep the hat together. Wait for the glue to set.

Trim the Edges

Next, trim the edges of the top part of the hat so nothing sticks out. If the bottom part is too small you may want to trim that also.

You now have your finished hat. Only one step left, painting.
