Cardboard hydraulic truck

This is a project which you can make from your home easily by using recycled materials that you can easily find in your home and you always put in the trash.

Overview:

Our project is a small cardboard hydraulic truck that can move small objects from one position to another and you can control its motion and transition with cardboard handlers using injection and small hoses.

(CAUTIONS: DON’T USE USED INJECTION IT’S VERY DANGEROUS).

Material:

1- Recycled cardboard.

2- Glue gun.

3- Craft Swabs.

4- Plastic injections.

5- Small water hoses.

6- Some metal wires.

7- Old two CDs.

8- Small amount of water.

( you can don’t use all this material and replace them with another tool that can make the job)

You can cut the cardboard like the photos and using our scale or large it or minimize as you want.

Use small craft swabs to pins the hands on a small cardboard then use glue to stick it to the second arm(horizontal arm).

Use small metal wires to pin every piece of hand to its controlled injection.

Second Arm(horizontal Arm)

You can cut two cardboard similar slides as shown.

Then you pin them using small craft swabs.

Then stick the hand on top edge and pin it to the first arm(vertical arm).

Pin the injection of hands on this arm.

Pin the horizontal arm injection on the start edge and to the first arm(vertical arm).

First Arm(vertical Arm)

You can cut two cardboard similar slides as shown.

Then you pin them using small craft swabs.

Pin the first edge to the base and the second edge to the front edge of the second arm(horizontal arm) as shown. Pin the injection of the second arm(horizontal arm) on this arm.

Pin the horizontal arm injection on the middle of it and to the base.

The Base

It consists of two main elements:

First: is the down base which made from a rectangular shape of cardboard and a pined CD to it.

Second: is Right trapezoidal shape with the Dimensions shown and pinned to each others and the up side pinned to the First arm(vertical arm) and the other side pinned to another CD which pinned to the first CD using Craft Swabs and glue to the base.

The up CD has pinned to the rotation injection that pinned to the base by glue as shown.

The Controllers

We have four similar handlers every one consists of:

Two small cardboard with any dimensions its base pinned to the end of the controller base using glue and Craft Swabs and the upper side pinned to the injection of every element and the edge of injection pinned to the front of the controller base.

Every injection is connected to its main injection pinned to elements as we explained by small Small water hoses as shown.

(CAUTION: You can’t use the air in the injections and hoses firstly you should Deflate the air and using water or any uncompressed fluid.

Finally

Now you can use your wonderful instrument.

Thank you for your time.
