Cardboard Jewelry Organizer

This is a cardboard jewelry organizer. It's not difficult to make and you Keep your jewelries safe and neat using this project.

Materials and Templates

For this project you'll need:

  • Cardboard
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Paper Glue
  • Ruler
  • X-acto knife
  • Marker
  • Wrapping paper/Fabrics.

Making the Box (1)

Take a square piece of cardboard, you can use rectangular if you want.

Using the template draw four lines in the edges (as shown in the picture). They must be equal in size and angle.

Cut along the lines.

Make some gentle slits on the cardboard, remember don't cut all the way through. This helps you to fold the box nicely.

I've made half cut lines on all four sides.

Cut out the corners as the picture. Cut along the yellow lines you see in the picture.

Decorating

Using the same technique I've made a lid. When you make the cuts on the corners keep it a bit smaller (1.5 - 2cm) than the box. Then wrap it with fabric or wrapping paper.

Dividing the Box.

I've cut out two pieces of cardboard. Wrap them with wrapping paper if you want.

Then glue them in the box to make separators. The box is ready. Enjoy.
