This instructable will show you how to make a cardboard speaker. It will amplify the volume of your phone and will spread the sound a greater distance.

Supplies

• cardboard
• craft knife
• pencil
•ruler
• disposable cup ( foam or plastic)
•kitchen roll tube
•hot glue
• paint (optional)

Take a cup and cut the bottom off it.

Attach the kitchen roll tube to it and secure with hot glue.

Now we need to make the parts for the box that will encase the speaker. The box needs to be bigger than the cup and tube so they will fit inside.

Now take the end part of the box and cut a hole the size of the cup in it. Secure it to the construction so it looks something like the picture above.

Now start to assemble the box around the construction. Cut a slit the size of your phone in the top of the cardboard tube.

Now add a small piece of cardboard under the tube to strengthen it.

Build the box up around the construction. Cut a slit in the top piece of cardboard that is the same size as the slit you cut in the kitchen roll tube. Make sure this slit is just above the slit you have made before in the tube.

Now paint it!

And add instructions to the speaker.

And There You Have Your Own Speaker!

You can obviously decorate it more. I would love to hear how you decorate it!
