Cardboard Tape Dispenser
This instructable will show you how to make a cardboard tape dispenser. Tape dispensers are very useful and are fairly easy to make.
First take a roll of tape and draw around it twice. Cut the two circles out.
Punch holes in the centres of the circles.
Draw around the inside of the roll of tape on cardboard and cut it out. Punch a hole in the middle of this circle as well.
Push the dowel or Reed diffuser stick into one of the larger circles. Secure it with hot glue.
Now take the smaller circle and push it along the stick so it is next to the larger circle. Secure the smaller circle with hot glue. Place the role of tape into the construction. It should look something like the second picture.
Now place the other larger circle on to the construction. Do not hot glue this circle as it will be the way that we refill the the dispenser.
Now we need to make a holder. It needs to be bigger than the roll of tape so yours might be bigger or smaller depending on the size of the roll of tape you have.
Now assemble the holder. Stick the parts together with hot glue.
Punch holes in the same place on each side of the holder. Place the construction we made before into the holder. You may need to cut the stick to allow it to fit inside.
Take a coffee stirrer and glue it to one end of the stick. This will prevent the stick from falling out easily.
Now take something sharp (be super careful) and hot glue it to the front of your dispenser.
Cover it up with a piece of cardboard.
