Carnivorous Pumpkin

For this project I found it interesting to make a pumpkin where when you see it you understand that it has a story so I decided to make a man-eating pumpkin 🎃 who would have had her mouth sewn up so as not to make a mistake. other victims.

For this project you will need:

- a pumpkin of course

- a marker or a small pumpkin cogwheel

-a knife or a pumpkin saw

-spoon

- carving tools to hollow out

-a drill with a drill bit slightly larger in diameter than your wire

- a large needle

-thread so

- the scissors

-small decorations like fake fingers or plastic spiders

-fake blood

1. Using the marker, draw a circle about 13 cm in diameter on the bottom of the pumpkin so that you cannot see the opening.

2. cut out the circle using a knife or a pumpkin saw 🎃.

3. Remove all filaments and seeds from the pumpkin with your hands or a spoon.

4. dig the flesh of the pumpkin with a spoon you can keep it to make cupcakes for example.

5. Rinse the pumpkin under running water to remove that sticky/gooey appearance.

1. Using the marker or as shown with a small pumpkin wheel, draw the shape of your mouth.

2. cut the mouth with a knife or a pumpkin saw.

3. deburr the inside edge of the pumpkin 🎃 with the spoon for a cleaner look.

4. dig with the tool to scoop out the eyes of the pumpkin to remove only the skin leaving the flesh visible without making holes.

5. rinse again.

1.For the seam of the mouth drill the same number of holes at the top and bottom I drilled five but do according to the size of the mouth of your pumpkin 🎃.

2. Take your thread, thread it on your needle and tie a knot at the end pass it inside the rightmost hole at the bottom of the mouth of your pumpkin, come out the other side then pass the needle in the hole above, when the needle is inside the pumpkin, pull it through the first hole next to yours, then thread it through the hole below, then pull it up inside of the pumpkin and pass the needle through the hole next to yours and work it all the way.

5. Once the needle is in the last hole inside the pumpkin, tie a knot and cut off the excess thread.

To finish, add fake blood on the bottom of the mouth and in the eyes to give a slightly reddish side to the eyes and add a few drippings of blood 🩸 here and there. Add spiders or like me a Fake fingers to give that pumpkin 🎃 carnivorous / man-eating side.
