Step 1
Take the two 14 inch pieces of wood and drill a hole on each one with a diameter of 1 inch. Make the center of the holes 3 1/2 inches away from the edge.
Step 2
Make marks at 5 1/2 inches and 8 inches. Saw on the marks half way through the wood. Take a chizzle and hammer out the excess wood to make marks as shown.
Step 3
Make a base by screwing the 7.5 inch boards to the 24 inch ones. Make sure that the 7.5 are on the inside and that the marks made in the previous step are facing outwards. Make base as shown.
Step 4
Take the two 14 inch pieces and make a mark 2.5 inches in from the endge, only do to one of the edges but both pieces of wood. Cut half way in and chizzle the chunks off. Attach divots on the 14 inch and the 24 inch and screw them together, as shown.
Step 5
Take the 10.5 inch piece of wood and drill it into the top of the 14 inch pieces as shown. Make sure the pieces line up at the ends and that it is on the inside.
Step 6
Cut an angle on the 14 inch piece of wood and drill it to the outside side of the catapult. This provides strength to your catapult.
Step 7
Drill a hole one inch from the end of 28 inch piece of wood and make sure the hole is one inch long. Insert the dowel through the right part of the base and then through the 28 inch wood and ending through the left side of the wood.
Step 8
Drill in the eye hook that you will attach the bungee cords to. Make one on the base and one on the arm.
Step 9
Next paint it what ever color you like. We just painted it with a wood finish, and attached a cup and the bungee cords.
