Chamoy Margarita

What's better on a hot summer day than a cold refreshing drink? The Chamoy Margarita is too complicated to define in a single word, because it's cool, tangy, sweet, salty, spicy and refreshing all at the same time.

Mix: 2 Tbsp lemon salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp Pico De Gallo seasoning, mix together on plate set aside.

Now pour enough Chamoy onto the second plate to rim with.

Moisten the rim of your glass with the Chamoy.

Turn the glass upside down and dip it in the salt mix, some bartenders recommend twisting the glass to get more stuff on the rim; some advise not. This is not the time to skimp.

In the blender, add the ice, Margarita mix, Chamoy, and a dash of Pico De Gallo.

Blend Well, I tend to let the blender go a bit longer than normal, just so the ice is completely smooth and slushy.

Garnish and Serve!

Pour into prepared glass garnish with a wedge of lime, straw, and a pinch of salt mix, Sit back, relax and enjoy.

Warning: This can be brain freeze inducing sip with caution.

As always Drink Responsibly
