Change PLA on a 3D Printer
These steps are for the makerbot replicator 3D printer
TO CHANGE PLA FILAMENT:
>turn on 3D printer
>left arrow to get to menu
>down arrow till you get to utilities
>press M button
>navigate to change filament
>press M button
choose unload (if a different filament is already loaded) or load.
wait for extruder to reach temp
press filament clamp down and pull filament out (remember to support the bottom of the clamp with another finger, its like you are pinching the clamp)
put new filament in while holding down filament clamp(check tip to make sure its clean)
use menu to notify the makerbot that the filament is loaded
