Changing Hair Color in Gimp: Quick and Dirty

This is a quick and easy way to change the hair color of a person in Gimp

What You Will Need:

Computer

Gimp (You can download this for free at www.gimp.org)

A Image

Start Gimp

Once you have gimp installed on your computer, run it.

Open Your Image

Once Gimp is running you will want to open your image in Gimp.

Go to file (Top left corner) and select open. Then select the file you want to use and press the open button.

Create New Layer

With your image in Gimp your going to want to create a new layer.

At the top go to Layer > New Layer.

You should see a new layer pop up on the right.

At the top of the layer area you change the mode of the new layer. Click on the arrow and select Overlay.

Paint

Now you can select the paint brush tool.

Select the color you want and start painting.
