Cheap and Easy Filament Dryer

If you have a 3D printer, one thing you probably have partial spools of filament. These were saved in good faith with the plan to use some day. When that day comes and you use the filament to print, the test print look like you used s chicken butt instead of a hot-end.

My quest to solve the problem I needed some parameters because, because being c̶h̶e̶a̶p̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶l̶a̶z̶y̶ Innovative and thrift.

Looked at the ones in the market place and the DIY sites. Most of those were plastic bulky and expensive.
digging around I found a slow cooker I broke the pot for so it looks like it would work.

Myself being a sous vide fan, the pid was no problem

I put mason jars on the bottom as spacers, to keep the spool off the bottom.

I took the handle off the lid and used the hole for the temp probe.

Plug it in, set the temp, take a break.
