Cheesecake Brownies

Two of our favorite recipes, marbled together.

Ingredients (also included in each step):
9"x13" pan

The Crust:
6 Tbs. Butter
3 Tbs. Sugar
1 1/2 packs of Graham crackers

The Cheesecake Batter:
3/4 cup sugar
1 lb. cream cheese.
2 tsp lime juice
1 pinch of salt
2 eggs

The Brownie Batter:
2 oz. bittersweet chocolate
3 oz. butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour

Making the Crust

Ingredients:
6 Tbs. butter
3 Tbs. sugar
1 1/2 packs of Graham crackers

Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) Melt the butter.
3) In a food processor (or by hand) grind the Graham crackers and sugar into coarse crumbs.
4) Pour the butter into the food processor while it's running.
5) Using your hand, press mixture into the bottom of the pan (9x13)
6) Bake for 10 minutes.

Making the Cheesecake Batter

Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar
1 lb. cream cheese.
2 tsp lime juice
1 pinch of salt
2 eggs

Instructions:
1) In a mixer, mix cream cheese and sugar for 2 minutes.
2) Add salt and lime juice.
3) Add eggs one at a time. Beat on low until just mixed.

Making the Brownie Batter

Ingredients:
2 oz. bittersweet chocolate
3 oz. butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour

Instructions:
1) Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler.
2) Beat eggs and sugar in a beater until light.
3) Add salt and vanilla to sugar and eggs.
4) Gradually add flour. Mix well.
5) Add chocolate-butter mixture.

Mixing It All Together

Instructions:
1) Pour the two batters together in the pan on top of the crust. If you stir them, make sure not to disrupt the crust (unless that's what you're aiming for).
2) Bake for 35 minutes.
3) Let cool and enjoy.

It's especially good after being left in the refrigerator or freezer for a few hours
