Chestnut Bacon Bites

These are arguably the best appetizers you will ever taste. They taste extremly good and will disappear immediatley. Even my friend who was reluctant to try them gobbled them up in the end!

Ingredients

heinz.jpg
1 Cup mayonaise
1 Cup Heinz chilli sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1 can water chestnuts
1 lb bacon
A handful of toothpicks
A pot
A glass cake pan
An oven
A wooden spoon
Two hands
A brain
OPTIONAL Latex gloves

Preparation Step 1

Mix together the mayonaise, chilli sauce and brown sugar in the pot over medium heat, just until the sugar melts.

Preparation Step 2

Now you are supposed to cut all the chestnuts in half, after doing so, I realized that I didn't have enough bacon for this and ended up doubling up the amount of chestnuts in each one, so leave them whole if you want.

Preparation Step 3

Wrap each chestnut in a piece of bacon and stick a toothpick through it to secure it.

Preparation Step 4

Repeat preparation step 3 until all of the bacon and chestnuts are used up, putting them in the pan as you go along-oh and make sure you grease it.

Preparation Step 5

Pour the sauce over the appetizers and bake in the oven for 30 minutes to an hour at 350 degrees (farenheit). Once they are finished, gobble them up before anyone else can!
