Chevron Friendship Bracelet
Hi guys, I have made a Chevron friendship bracelet that I thought I could share with everyone! You only need three materials to make this bracelet. They are very simple materials that you might have around the house! This bracelet is VERY easy, and they only take around 30 minutes to make. You can also use this bracelet as a bookmark, just don't tie the two ends together. They will also make a good Christmas gift for that one person that you forget to buy a present for ( Don't worry your not the only one). So I really hope that you guys enjoy this instructable!!!
Gather Your Materials
1. Clipboard
2. Embroidery floss ( choose 3 colors, and cut them to be 4-5 feet long depending on how big your wrist is).
3. Scissors
Tying Your Knot
Take the threads that you have just cut, and line them up end-to-end. Next, lay your threads out ( they all should still be bunched up ). Grab your threads in the middle so that you have 2 of the same color in the bunch.
Lay your thread out as if it is a mirror image. It should be laid out in a pattern A,B,C,C,B,A as you can see blue is A, orange is B, and C is green. Make a knot by forming a four over the second string. Then pull it under and through the whole, repeat once more. Your going to keep on going left to right until you get to the center. Now take the same color you did on the other side that you have knotted. Make a backwards four, over the strand next to it, and make the second backwards four. Keep on moving until you get to the center, next to the other color that you have knotted. Now take the two colors you have already knotted with each strand, and you can do any of those two knots. Just make sure you do one of those two and not both. Keep on doing this with all of your strands until you get to your desired length. Move on to step four.
Ending
Once you have your desired length, tie a knot very close to your bracelet, but not right on it. With both ends tie two knots, to make your bracelet into a circle. Cut the end of your leftover strands, like in the 3rd picture. You are now done with your bracelet.
Enjoy!!!
