My kid has been cooking since he was about 8...he was so good with his cooking we let him take over the kitchen...

He has been taking cooking/ culinary arts courses since he was 12...his dream is to be a chef...this is his version of a BBQ sauce....my daughter loves is...if your like me you can always reduce the sweet chili sauce....but this is his recipe so here it is...

We call him Chef D'Yoyo....

Ingredients and what you will need

4OO grams of Ketchup
2OO grams of Sweet Chili sauce
1OO grams of Sandalfour Asian Pear Jam or any pear jam you can get.
1OO mils of Soy sauce
1OO mils of Balsamic Vinegar
2  teaspoons ginger ( dry powdered or  fresh crushed chopped ginger)
1 Tablespoon of dry ground chili pepper spice

A Bowl (Bigger then what you see in the picture, according to Chef YoYo the bigger the better, makes mixing it up less of a mess and easier to dip your meat in or spoon it on your ribs.) A good spoon

Step 1 the Makings of the Sauce

Here is a close up of the sauce makings...Youll notice that we use Tamari soy sauce...no wheat. And the ketchup is a spicy pizza type but regular will be just as good.

Step 2

BBQ sauce 3.jpg
First The ketchup goes in...

Step 3

BBQ sauce 4.jpg

Now add the soy sauce...the more natural the better but what you can get will work....its all about the flavor.

Step 4

Step 5

Now Add the balsamic vinegar Chef D* YoYo has learned to do this by sight...

Step 6

Now mix it up

Step 8 Adding Spices

Now the ginger...this is the second to last addition to this recipe... to add even more flavor, if you can get it, which we couldn't, add green onions aka onion greens... like the tops of the onion...

Step 9 the Last of the Spices

Add the dried ground chili spice thats the last of your ingredients.

Last Step Before Applying It to Your BBQ Food...
