Chocolate-Covered Mice
These chocolate-covered cherry mice are fun to make and make an adorable presentation for parties, bake sales, and of course, Halloween.You will need:
• Chocolate melted with butter and paraffin. See full Chocolate-Covered Mice Recipe.
• Maraschino or fresh cherries, with stems, drained, and completely dry.
• Chocolate chips.
• Sliced almonds.
• Toothpick.
• Commercial red gel icing in a tube.

Step 1
Dip dry cherries in melted chocolate.
Step 2
Press the flat side of the chocolate chip to the front of the chocolate-dipped cherry to form a head while the chocolate is still warm.
Step 3
While chocolate is still warm, press almond slices between chocolate chip and cherry to form a face. Let cool.
Step 5
Use a toothpick to dab beady red eyes on either side of the chocolate chip with the red gel icing.
Step 6
They are almost too cute to eat! Great for children's birthday parties, bake sales, and of course, Halloween.
