Chocolate Mango Cake Pops
These bite-size treats are delicious and fun to make.
Ingredients
What you need is:
- 4oz semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 very ripe mango
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon
- 3/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter

Mix
Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
In another bowl, crack eggs into bowl and add sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add the butter and beat for about 1 minute.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 inch pan lined with wax paper.

Melt and Add Chocolate
Chop chocolate into pieces. Put pieces into a pot on the stove. Put it on medium heat and stir occasionally. Take chocolate off burner when melted.
Pour chocolate into the sugar/butter mixture.

Combine
Add milk and flour mixture to the wet mixture and beat until light brown, thick, and creamy.
Mango
Peel and slice mango. Mine was so ripe that most of it was almost goop! :) But the riper the more flavorful the cake will be. Add the mango to the cake batter and mix until the pieces are evenly distributed.
Bake
Put cake batter into the greased pan and bake for about 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Make Cake Pops
Form the cake into round balls. Put them in a container of your choice. Insert stick or toothpick into them and put them in the fridge until firm.
