Chocolate Nut Bites

Don't be fooled! These chocolate bites may be small in size, but they are mighty in flavor! They are simple to make, yet look very impressive! Perfect for parties and get-togethers! :) Without further ado, I present my Chocolate Nut Bites!

Ingredients

You don't need much for these little bites.

Ingredients:

Chocolate (I used semisweet, but you can use what you please)

Oil (to thin out the chocolate a little bit)

And now comes the fun part! :)

You can top these bites with whatever you want! I prefer:

Almonds, Pumpkin Seeds, Pine Nuts, Raisins, Gogi Berries, Cranberries, and Pecans

Melting the Chocolate

Melt about 1/4 to 1/3 of a cup of chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. I microwaved my chocolate for 1 minute, and then I stirred it with some oil to thin it out, about a teaspoon.

Take a small amount of chocolate from the bowl, about a teaspoon, and pour it onto a sheet of parchment paper. My parchment paper is on a plate, but you can just as well put it on a baking sheet. Spread the chocolate out thin, and then press in your choice of topping before the chocolate hardens. Don't worry! It takes a while for the chocolate to harden, so you can take your time! :-)

Continue to make the bites until you run out of chocolate.

Chill and Enjoy!

Place the bites in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes for them to set completely. If you like, you can also let them sit out at room temperature for about an hour. (I put mine in the fridge because I can't wait)

Remember to peel them from the parchment paper CAREFULLY, or they will break. But if they DO break, it gives you another reasont o eat them, lol.

I hope you enjoy the recipe! :-)
