Chocolate Oblivion Torte With Chocolate Bay and Cabbage Leaves
This is a fun, delicious and very yummer chocolate torte. The torte itself only has 3 ingredients: chocolate, butter and eggs! The torte would be good on its own however I wanted to play with some chocolate leaves and decorations. In order to make these stick, I needed to make a glaze and the glaze tasted amazing too!
The leaves are surprisingly easy. All you do is paint melted chocolate onto the back of a leaf and put it into the fridge for 5 min. I used bay leaves and a cabbage leaf. When you take it out of the fridge, the chocolate should be easy to peal off.
Happy Making!
This torte only has 3 ingredients: Chocolate, butter and eggs! It is super delicious, most and rich.
Once your torte is made you can add on any decorations you like. I made chocolate bay leaves and one chocolate cabbage leaf. To make the leaves just use a brush to paint 1/4-1/8 inch of melted chocolate on one side of the leaf and put it in the fridge for 5 min. When you take it out, it should be hard and peal off the real leaf easily.
I also found I needed to add a chocolate glaze onto my torte because otherwise my leaves would have nothing to stick to!
