Chocolate Peanut Butter Parfait

This tasty dessert is easy to make and takes less than 20 minutes to prepare.  This chocolate peanut butter parfait is perfect for holidays, parties, even break-ups.

Ingredients

Graham Crackers
1 Cup of Peanut Butter
1 8-ounce Block of Cream Cheese
4 tbsp. Powder Sugar
1 8-ounce Tub of Whipped Cream
1 12-ounce Bag of Milk Chocolate Chips

Mixing Bowl
Electric Mixer
Microwavable Glass Bowl
Rubber Spatula
Microwave
Serving Dishes/Cups
Large Spoon
Measure Cups
Food Processor

Note: Type of serving dishes or cups can differ depending on personal preference

Peanut Butter Mixture

Materials:
1 Cup Peanut Butter
1 8-ounce Block Cream Cheese
4 tbsp. Powder Sugar
Mixing Bowl
Electric Mixer

Process:
Gather ingredients
Put ingredients in mixing bowl

Peanut Butter Mixture

Process:
Mix ingredients from step 1
Blend ingredients with Electric Mixer
Leave mixture in mixing bowl for next step

Materials:
Peanut butter mixture
Whip cream

Process:
Gather Materials
Add whip cream to peanut butter mixture

Peanut Butter Mixture

Materials:
Mixture from Step 1
1 8-ounce Tub of  Whipped Cream
Rubber Spatula

Process:
Add whipped cream to the mixing bowl with peanut butter mixture (from step 1)
Use rubber spatula to blend ingredients together until creamy

Process:
Set aside peanut butter, powder sugar, cream cheese, whipped cream mixture (from step 2) for later use (step 6)

Chocolate Mixture

Materials:
½ 12-ounce bag of Chocolate Chips
Microwave
Microwavable Glass Bowl

Process:
Place chocolate chips into microwavable glass bowl
Heat up chocolate chips in microwave for 30 seconds
Stir mixture
Repeat until most of the chocolate chips are melted

Caution! Be careful not to burn yourself. Glass bowl and chocolate might be hot!

Grind Graham Crackers

Materials:
Serving Cups
Graham Crackers
Food Processor

Process:
Put 4 graham crackers in food processor 
Close top of food processor and set to grind until mostly crumbs

First Layer of Parfait

Materials:
Crushed graham crackers
Serving cup
Process:
Put crushed graham crackers in serving cups to begin making the parfait.

Note: You will use the same cups to layering ingredients on top as directed in future steps. The term “parfait” will be used to describe the cups containing the layered ingredients from the previous steps.

Second Layer of Parfait

Materials:
Peanut Butter Mixture
Parfait
 
Process:
Layer 3 tbs. of peanut butter mixture on top of crushed graham crackers in serving cups
Note: You may use more or less peanut butter mixture depending on size of your serving cups. Leave enough space to layer each ingredient twice.

Third Layer of Parfait

Materials:
Chocolate mixture
Parfait

Process:
Layer chocolate mixture on top of peanut butter mixture
Add enough chocolate to completely cover peanut butter mixture

Note: Make sure chocolate mixture is not extremely hot and has timed to cool so that it does not drip down to the other layers

Repeat
