Looking for a simple way to pamper your hands? This delightful sugar scrub not only smells good enough to eat—but technically, you could! Made with natural ingredients, it’s perfect for gently polishing your skin, leaving your hands soft and smooth. Using it is easy: just scoop a small amount into your hands, rub them together gently over a sink, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry with a clean towel. It’s a luxurious and effective way to care for your skin.
Supplies
You will need:
½ cup (120 mL) raw sugar
½ cup (120 mL) packed brown sugar
1 tsp (5 mL) baking cocoa
3 tbsp (45 mL) olive oil
½ tsp (2.5 mL) vanilla extract
Container to do mixing and keeping it in
Popsicle stick (to stir)
First measure 1/2 a cup (120 ml) of raw sugar and pour it into your container.
Next, measure 1/2 cup (120 ml) of packed brown sugar and dump it into the container.
Then, measure out 1 tbsp (5 ml) of baking cocoa, and dump it into the container.
By this point, your container should look something like this.
Now, measure 3 tbsp (45 ml) of olive oil and pour it on top of everything.
Next, measure out 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) of vanilla extract and add it to the mixture.
Finally, mix everything together. There should be some clumps but not too many.
