Christmas Mice Ornaments
This is a fun and easy holiday craft for all ages! You can use this creative mouse to decorate your tree during the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season!
Supplies
The supplies you will need in order to make this craft are:
-red and green fabric (amount of fabric needed is to your own discretion)
-your choice of fabric glue
-scissors
-wiggly eyes
-candy canes for appropriate number of mice tails
-marker for drawing body and ears of mouse

Draw and Cut the Mouse Body
On your red fabric, use the marker to draw a large teardrop shape.
Next, use your scissors to cut out the shape.

Draw and Cut Mouse Ears
Use your marker to draw a peanut-shaped figure onto the green fabric.
Then, use your scissors to cut out the figure.
Then, use your scissors to cut out the figure.
Make a Slot for the Ears and Tail
First, fold the body of the mouse hamburger style so that the point of the teardrop touches the curve of the body.
Next, use your scissors to make two small vertical slits into the fabric, about one fourth of the way down.
Then, fold the mouse body hotdog style and cut a small horizontal slit close to the top of the fabric.

Time to Add the Ears and Tail!
Place the mouse ears through the two vertical slits towards the top of the mouse's body.
After the ears are in place, turn the mouse where it is facing downward.
Open the slit at the top of the mouse's body and place the bottom of the candy cane through the slit.
Next, flip the mouse over.
Pull the middle part of the ears up so you can place the bottom of the candy cane further down the hole to safely secure the tail.

For the Finishing Touch, Add the Eyes!
Turn the mouse back to the front with tail at the top.
Grab the fabric glue.
Drop two dots of glue underneath the mouse ears.
Place a wiggly eye on each drop of glue.
Grab the fabric glue.
Drop two dots of glue underneath the mouse ears.
Place a wiggly eye on each drop of glue.
Hang on the Tree!
Hang your new friend by his tail onto your Christmas tree!
