Classroom Hall Pass
I made a hall pass for my english teacher because he had a problem.
Mr Gibb's hall pass is a thin piece of paper that does not look very good and is not very reliable because it can get ripped.
He needed a new hall pass that is durable and looked good while representing him and his class.
Supplies
tinkercad.com, 3d printer, 3d filament, 3d slicer software.
1st Prototype
For my first prototype I made a design of a hall pass on a website named tinkercad. I made it based off of an interview with Mr Gibb. He wanted a hall pass that said his name and his class but not the room number incase he switches classes to a different room or school.
2nd Prototype
After I Designed the first prototype, I printed it with a 3d printer. I came out a bit smaller than I wanted, the letters and pencil were not up high enough for my liking and I had to make changes to the colors.
Final Prototype
For the final prototype I made the colors black and gold and the letters and pencil were the perfect height off the base. I then sanded any sharp points down and put a lanyard on it for the finished product!
