Clay Creeper Head

My friend LOVES Minecraft. It's her party tommorow. I bought clay at walmart, and made her this!
What you need:
- Clay (I used air dry)
- Food Coloring ( colored clay is easier- I didn't have any so I dyed mine)
- A mixing tool
- Cutting board / plate

Let's get into it!

Coloring Clay

You can do this all in one ball but I did two and smashed them together. One I did a light green and the other I did dark green.
Dye your clay green. This might take a while. Just take your ball of clay, and put a couple of drops of green food coloring on it. Smash it together. For light green you want to massage the green food coloring more. For dark green you want to "paint" it on.

Digging

Dig a little bit under your creeper so it's easier to remove.

Dig in a creeper face. I used a picture from the internet to help me. I filled the gaps I carved in with blue food coloring. Use black if you have it, I just don't have it so I used dark blue. I added some more detail by using green food coloring and using Claude Monet like brushstrokes to add more detail.

Finished!

Then you are finished! I let mine air dry overnight because I have air dry clay. If you have oven bake, oven bake it according to the instructions that came with your clay. You can also glaze it if you have glaze. The other blue charm in the second photo is a book charm I made inspired by SoCraftastic on YouTube.
