Color Adjustable Lightbox With UV
ok so here is my project. I built this for my partner for her rockhounding and jewelry crafting. We use it to detect different minerals in rocks, agates, gems, etc with the UV light and by adjusting the color of the WS2812B LED's we can bring out the color of different minerals to help identify them easier. It also makes jewelry look really cool. It's not the greatest looking code or design files for the box, feel free to remake the box or whatever.
Supplies
1x Arduino Uno
1x SH1106 128x64 1.3" OLED screen
4x 20k Potentiometer
1x momentary Push Button
1x 12V 1.5A DC power supply
1x 9V 2A step down buck
6x WS2812B LEDs
3x Bivar uv5tz-395-15 UV LED's
3x 75Ohm resistors
1x 220Ohm resistor
6x 100uf 16V Capacitor
3x Diodes
lots of wire
5x hot press in threaded inserts M3x5
5x M3 screws 6mm
HOT glue
Make sure you have all the required materials.
Build box and insert parts. Should be pretty self-explanatory where things go. The white knob is used for green since I didn't have green. Red on top, then blue, then green, then brightness, Then Push Button. I used the push button I had laying around; it is the same as any other momentary push button, feel free to use any push button you want and modify the case to fit the button used.
