Colourful Salt Jars

photo (9).JPG
It looks like sand art but it is actually salt!!!

THE CONTENT OF THE JARS WILL NOT BE EDIBLE!!!

Things You Will Need

photo (14).JPG
-2 Jars (one for mixing the colours and another for putting the salt in)
-Salt
-Coloured Chalk (they can be any colour you like)
-Scissors
-Spoon
-A Funnel (This is completely optional, I just used one so i wouldn't get the salt everywhere. If you don't have one you can easily make one out of paper! Make a cone shape and tape it together, make sure the tip of it isn't too small or else the salt will get clogged up.)

Optional Decorations:
-Ribbon

Use the spoon and measure how much salt you want and put it in the mixing jar.
Get your scissors out and open them as wide as they go and start to shave the chalk off in fine pieces into the same jar as the salt is in.
The more chalk you shave the bolder the colours will be.

Put the lid on and shake the jar around to mix the salt and the chalk together!

Grab your funnel (if you are using one) and pour the salt into the jar.

Repeat steps 2,3 and 4 until the jar is full. Remember to alternate the colours!

Optional Decorations
