Comfortable Shelf
I have a tons of playmobil toys (my favorites are from 1974) so i wanted to build them a shelf, but with a little vintage style.
So as a new project i made them a shelf in form of a couch.
The Materials
cardboard
1= 5,5 " x 4" , 1= 5.5" x 3", and 2= 4" x 2" cardboard cutouts
1= 4" x 4", 1= 4" x 3" and 2= 1.5" x 3" cardboard cutouts
also:
Eva foam
Rubber cement
chopsticks
scissors
sand paper
fabric
exacto knife
" clamps or clothes pins
Preparing the Cardboard Parts
marked and folded in half (with the exacto knife) the cardboard parts
Gluing the Cardboard Pieces Between Them
Apply the rubber cement on.
Let it dry for a few minutes, and glue the parts to form a thicker piece
Cut and Paste the Fabric to Line
Cut and paste the fabric to line the cardborad pieces
Let It Dry With the Clamps On
Join the Parts and Staple to Attach Better
Glue the EVA Foam for Better Look
Cutting and Sticking the Legs = the Chopsticks
Add Hook to Hang Up on the Wall
Hang Them on the Wall
Once you have two or three chairs, you can add the Playmobil or any doll you want (you can glue them to the fabric) and hang them on the wall. It will be the most comfortable shelf you have ever seen.
