Compact Soldering Machine - a 15 Minutes Make

Whenever we think of DIY projects, soldering comes as a necessity. There are many places where we are not able to use a soldering machine because of many reasons. To prevent this, let's make a compact soldering machine which is easy to make and easy to operate anywhere.

1. A Copper Rod (of any length above 15cm)
2. a Lighter
3. Electrician tape
4. a pair of scissors
5. an ice cream stick
6. glue
and we are all done!! Let's begin!!!!!

Take the copper rod of length and thickness of your choice and then bend it the way shown in the picture. You can take the help of a screw driver to make those curves because it may be difficult to bend a thick rod.

Now take an ice cream stick and break it into two pieces. Place the element made in the last step in between these pieces and seal the sandwich firmly by electrician tape and fill some glue between the gap. Let it dry.

Now attach the insulated element with the lighter such that the element is just above the hole and touches the flame. You can also trim the element according to your choice.

Hurrah!!!! your soldering Machine is all set to complete your necessities! All you have to do is just press the trigger for 3-4 mins and then solder anything anywhere.
