Converting Scribbles to Art

You can use this technique on any bit of scribble to create a wonderful looking art piece!

The first thing I did was start off with scribbles then found two scribbles close to each other and joined them. Once joined i went over them to make the lines thicker leaving no gaps.

The next thing I did once I joined the lines to create a shape was filling the blank space inside the shape. To fill it in and make it look good I chose a straight line pattern where the shape bends.

Once the first shape was completed I then moved down to the next shape I could create using the scribbles and also adding my own lines to join them with.

Now two shapes had been created so I went on to create the third one but wanted to attach a line to shape one.

When doodling sometimes you make mistake and lines/shapes don't look the way you wanted them to look,so the trick is to improvise. Here I didn't like how a part looked so i shaded it in and rounded lines up to make it look better than the first idea. Also behind shapes I continued lines to the other side and made them look similar so that people know the line had been continued and it is part of a shape but another shape is in the way.

When most of the page had been filled with shapes and it looked good but there was still a scribble left on its own I let my imagination help so I created another identical scribble on the opposite side and created wings to join them up and make them look good.

Once I was happy with the doodling I had done to the scribbles I then imported it to my computer.

Once i uploaded the image to my laptop,I then opened up Adobe Illustrator and opened the image. Then I clicked on the image and hit "Image Trace" at the top toolbar.

Once the image was traced I then imported it into photoshop to add colour and nice border to make it stand out and look good!

Now you have a work of Art that could be hung in a room or used as a Wallpaper/Screen saver!
