Cord Organizer
I Like to have everything as organized as possible, which let's face it, is difficult to achieve with cords. So I set out to create a cord organizer that:
1: Would Last/Be pretty durable
2: Be attached so losing it/misplacing it wouldn't a problem
This is what I came up with, hope you enjoy!
Supplies
6mm Crochet Hook
Leftover yarn from another project
Scissors
Cord - Charging cord, computer cords, TV cords, etc
About 30 min of free time
Large Eye needle
Button
Sewing needle
Thread
Start
Single crochet 6 stitches directly onto the cord. This may differ based on the length of your cord but the number of stitches must be even. Chain 1, then complete a second row.
Double Crochet
Double crochet 2 rows. Wrap your cord to see if you need more rows if your cord is longer.
Create Button Hole
Double crochet 2 stitches then chain 2. Skip 2 stitches and double crochet 2 stitches. This will be your button hole. If you have more or less than 6 stitches, just skip 2 in the middle. (Ex for 4 stitches= Double crochet 1, ch 2, skip 2, double crochet 1.)
Fasten Off
End your work with single crochet stitches and sew excess.
Sew on Button
Sew on button.
Done!
Wrap your cord and fasten the holder.
