Corn and Other Plants for People Who Don't Know How to Grow Anything

Warning-I just got into planting, so don't blame me if something blows up, because that's what I usually do.

What you need:

Good soil, preferably Miracle Gro

A lawn or garden space

Seeds of your choice

10 inch planting pot

Truly, These are the essentials for planting. People sell a lot of geeky planting materials that you shouldn't buy, because it just complicates things. It won't make you a better planter, it'll just make you the one obsessive-compulsive guy who's obsessed with his lawn/garden. Don't be him.

Follow this instruction carefully. Fill your pot 3/4 of the way with your soil.

Dig a hole with your finger a bit more than .5 of an inch down into the soil. Drop your seed in the hole, then fill it back up again with soil.

Water your plant so the soil is wet. This shouldn't be too hard. Water usually makes things wet. Now, set your pot inside until all dangers of frost are gone in a sunny place. When the time is right, you can move it outside in another safe but sunny place. Water it when dry.

If you are planting 2 plants in the same pot, it doesn't really matter how far apart they are, as long as they aren't touching.

When you plant grows to be too big for your pot, get a thin object and try to remove the soil and plants from the pot and move it to either a bigger pot or the ground.

If you are a beginner to growing plants, start off with growing corn. It might look a little strange in your yard, but it grows really fast. If you want the corn to actually grow fruit, plant a few together.
