Hello warriors, I know it's been hard to pass this corona phase as we all are facing this pandemic, we all are fighting our own battles alone, yet we can't see its end. However, as a wise man once said, "this shall too pass", and we must keep our will high and keep fighting, and here I am with my new instructable which will help you and protect you while traveling in any public transport. As public transport in the big city gets really crowded and we cannot sanitize whole bus or metro so, here is a custom handle for you guys. You can use this handle to grab poles in a metro or a bus, as you don't have to touch them with your own hands, and then you can simply sanitize the handle. :)

P.S. Handle for public transportation is a really long name if you have any cool name up in your mind please comment below :P B|

Supplies

Here is the list of things which we need:

1. FDM 3D printer (I am using Creality Enderv3)

2. PLA Filament.

3. CAD software for design (Optional)

4. Slicer (Optional)

Optional: As Gcode and STL file of the final design is attached below

Step 2. Customizing Design

So, according to my observations I think most of the poles in public transport are of same diameter around 35mm. So that I have designed this model with diameter of 40mm. Another important dimensions will be of our hand, as shown in the picture (Black line) measure our hand's length and width and add 3-5mm as clearance. Moreover, I am attaching not only STL and Gcode file but also the STEP and Part file, so that anyone can change these dimensions and customize their own design. Although, I think that you can directly print STL file, and I do believe that it will be okay for most of the people and yes, you don't need any support structure also.

So happy printing, stay strong, stay safe. peace out.
