This cake i made 1 week ago, and I think it's one of the best i've ever made! If you think so too, please rate and vote for it!

This instructable is step by step, and shows  how to cut the cake-pieces into a cow :)

Unfortunately i managed to delete some images from covering and painting the cow, but I think you get it anyway!

The cake is covered with Marshmallowfondant

I prefer to paint my cakes - the colors used were:
sugar-flaire colors thinned with vodka
"chestnut" for the body
"liquorice" for the hoof and nose-holes
a little bit "christmas red" for the nose and udder
"party green" for the cake board

Layout

search the internet for pictures of cows
laying on the ground - look closely on the anatomic.

It doesn't hurt to have a printed copy by your working space.

unfortunately the covering pics are missing,

i covered it with one big sheet of marshmallow-fondant
this needs a little practise but is also very forgiving :)

add texture to the fondant by pinching it with your fingers - the turquose lines show you where to.

add a spine, the leg texture and on the head - especially the eye and nose-area
Poke some little holes with a toothpick at the nose-area

form some horns, dugs and ears.

when your done, it's time to paint the cake.
I used sugar-flaire colors thinned with vodka
"chestnut" for the body
"liquorice" for the hoof and nose-holes
a little bit "christmas red" with much vodka ;) for the nose and udder
"party green" for the cake board
