Crayon Wax Easter Eggs
I got a little more experimental with coloring the Easter eggs this year. This method is great, because you don't have to buy anything if you have eggs and old crayons on hand, and they look awesome.
Materials
The materials are rather simple. All you need are some old crayons, a lighter, a paper towel, pliers (optional), and of course, an egg.
Melting
Now for the fun part! You can either hold the crayons in your fingers, or if you're concerned about getting burnt, which I did, you can hold them with pliers. It also helps to have something to prop the egg up against; I used the egg carton. Once you have everything set up, hold the crayons above your propped up egg, then hold the lighter next to the crayons and move them around to distribute the melting wax over your egg.
You're Done!
That's it! It hardly takes any time to dry, so once you're done melting, the eggs are complete!
