Create Portrait With Reference Image Using Eyedropper Tool on Krita
All you will need is the Free program Krita and a Portrait picture as your reference
Open a New File
After opening Krita click New File and create a file that you will paint on.
Open Reference Photo
Go to File then Open and select your reference photo, next select all to copy and paste to your new file.
Adjust Reference Picture Size
With the top left icon in the image, transform the image size to fit the new file page then press enter.
Create a Base Color Layer
Add new layer using this icon under the layers workspace area. On this layer select a color similar to the skin tone or another color of your choosing and paint over the reference photo layer covering all of the original photo as a base.
Use Eyedrop Tool to Copy Image
Add a new layer over the base layer. Turn the visibility off on the base color layer and use the eyedropper tool to select the colors on the reference image and then witch to a brush to paint in it on. Do this all over the image.
Use Blender Brushes to Blur
Go under brushes and use a blender brush to blend the colors together. The base layer under this layer keeps the picture fully painted because too much of the blender brushes removes the color painted on.
