Create a Fire Fighter's Helmet
The following information is a single lesson in a larger Tinkercad project. Check out this and more projects on Tinkercad.
Let's build a Fire Fighter's Helmet!
Here we go!
Instructions
- The helmet can be made using a half sphere. Scale its height to 12mm.
- The visor can be made using a round roof.
- Scale the round roof down and align it to the helmet.
- The shield can be made from a star. After placing the star, change the inner radius to 0.8 in the inspector.
- Position the shield so the flat part faces away and align it to the helmet.
- Fire fighter helmets also have a visor in the back. Make a copy of the front visor and mirror it to the back.
- The back visor is slightly tilted.
- The helmet has reinforcement to make it stronger. A torus can be used for this. In the inspector, make sure the Tube value is 0.5.
- Make 3 duplicates of the torus equally spaced.
- Group the two objects together again, and change the color to black.
- Continue to the next lesson.
Great Work!
That looks great!
Let's keep going!
