Create an Ebook Using Book Creator

Creating an ebook is very easy when you use the Book Creator app. The app is available on iPad and Android devices.

Open the app on your device, and click on the new book option. You will have the choice of layout between landscape, vertical and square. Once you choose your layout your book will open to the cover page.

Once you have decided on your layout, you can begin building your ebook.

On Android devices you click on the big plus sign in the bottom right hand corner. This will bring up options to add photos, text, sound bits, video, and the pen tool. Select an option and another window will appear allowing you to select an image, sound bit, video or draw.

On iPad you click on the plus sign on the top of the right hand side of the page. This will bring up options to add photos, text, sound bits, video, and the pen tool. Select an option and another window will appear allowing you to select an image, sound bit, video or draw.

When you add a photo on either device you have the option to add a photo from albums or take a photo.

Once you have added content (images, sound, text, etc,) to your page you can edit it.

On Android you highlight the content you want to edit on the page, than click on the "i" icon in the top right hand corner of the page. Depending on the type of content you have highlighted you will see options to change the colour, text size, pen width, etc...

Content can also be resized by simply dragging the corners of the boxes until the desired size is achieved.

In order to make sure you have all the content on the correct pages you can view the pages in a thumbnail format.

On Android this is done by selecting the "icon of six little boxes" in the top right hand corner of the page. Once you are in the page thumbnails you can move the content between pages.

On iPad you click on "pages" in the top left hand corner of the page. Once you are in the page thumbnails you can move the content between pages.

Once you have completed your ebook it's time to export it so it can be read in a clear format.

On Android this is done by clicking on the button in the very top right hand corner. It will give you options to export your ebook in epub, so simply chose your option, export and enjoy!

On iPad you click on the little box with the arrow coming out of the top. This will also offer you various export options, the most popularly used is eBook.
