This is a step by step guide to crate a unique painting using your favorite colour compination and a liitle bit of yarn.
What You'll Need.
1 canvas 18cmx24cm
Brushes (3 different sizes 3/4'' - 3/8'' - 1/8'')
2 acrylic colour paints (in this case blue-yellow but you can use whatever combination you like)
Yarn (You can use as many different colour yarns your imagination tells you)
Atlacoll or any other glue apropriate for a a canvas and a yarn
Sponge in different sizes and shapes
Scissors
1 can of spray varnish
Plastic cups for your paints
1 rubber brush for corrections
Creating Your Base
Firtsly you have to choose the basic colour of your painting. I chose the acrylic blue in this case.
Paint the Entire Canvas
USe your wider brush and cover the entire surface of your canvas. Let it dry completely before moving to the next step.
Time to Make the Circles
Now take a different paint and by using the round sponges make as many circles you want on the canvas.
Fill the Circles
Now using one of your brushes paint the inside of the circle to make a smooth surface. Let it dry.
Time for the Yarn
Choose your desired yarns and make spirals to cover the inside of the circles. When you measured the lenght of the yarn that you'll nees use the scissors to cut it.
Glue Them
Use your glue to secure the yarn on the canvas. Again let it dry.
Almost There
When you think your are done and you dont want to add anything else to the painting, use your varnish spray to make a protective coating of the canvas, Use the indructions of the manufacturer to apply it proper and safely.
