Creating a LinkedIn Account

With the world moving to digital platforms moving to a webbed based networking service such as LinkedIn is the way to go. You can connect with thousands of your peers and colleagues near and far.

By the end of this tutorial you will know exactly how to create a LinkedIn profile.

The first step is to open your preferred browser mine is Google Chrome. You will want to search "LinkedIn" in the search bar. After locating www.LinkedIn.com you will want to access the website.

1.This step you will want to access the "Join Now" tab in the top right corner

2.In this step you will want to use your email address to sign up for the LinkedIn Account

3.By first entering your personal email followed by creating your own unique password that you will remember, and that is not easily guessed

1.Next you will enter your first and last name

2.Next a verification will come up

3.After completing Verification you will have a prompt that ask where you are located

4.Next you will enter you most recent Job title, or Student status

5.You will have a prompt to verify the email you associated with the account

In this step you will have the prompt to search and find people you may know and have worked with before

Next you will want to upload an image of yourself by clicking where the Red arrow is

the next step is adding any work, internship, and co-ops experiences you have had

When done creating your page, it should have an image of you and all of your work experience.
