Cup pong is a fun game that everyone should be able to enjoy regardless of their age. For players of age, the cups may be filled with alcoholic beverages but other alternatives can be found here: https://www.allamericantailgate.com/tailgating-blog/nonalcoholic-beer-pong-alternatives/. The standard setup for this game is ten Solo cups in the shape of a triangle, which can sometimes be difficult to construct. I have created this rack with ten placeholders for the cups to ensure a fair and equal game. This makes it certain that the game stays consistent, and your experience is super fun!

To begin, you will need measurements of a Solo cup. The diameter of the top of the cup is 92 mm, which is what the diameter of each of the placeholders will be. Click on "Create" and make a cylinder with a diameter of 92 mm and a height of 8 mm. After doing this, make ten duplicates of the placeholder and put them in the formation of a triangle (picture included). Make sure that the space in between the placeholder cylinders is as minimal as possible.

Creating the Base/Rack

For this step, begin by creating a new sketch. Use the line tool to make an equilateral triangle; each side should be 500 mm, and each angle should be 60°. Then, use the fillet tool and fillet each corner by 50 mm. After you finish your sketch, use the press pull tool to thicken the base to 8 mm.

Add the Placeholders to the Base

Start with the first placeholder cylinder on your plane and place it in the lefthand corner of the base. Next, move the placeholder cylinder up by 4 mm by setting the Z-distance to 4 mm, so it is partially intruding and partially extruding the triangular base. Copy this cylinder and paste a new one. Then, move the new placeholder cylinder 100 mm right. Continue this step until 10 placeholder cylinders fill-up the triangular base in an equidistant formation.

Combine Everything

Finally, now that you have all of your placeholders in the correct spots, use the combine tool to cut the placeholder cylinders into the base. The cup pong rack is now complete. Go print it out and enjoy!
