Custom Mechanical Pencil Lead Container USB

Hello. Today i will beshowing you how to make a USB out of a old USB and a lead container for mechanical pencils.

You will need:

Epoxy or glue

Mid sized USB

Sand paper

Skewer

and most importantly, The lead container

1st remove the USB from the case, CAREFULLY. I recommend using a pair of needle nose pliers and wire cutters, tho it can be done with any number of tools.

Use wire cutters or a hacksaw to cut off the end of the container. then use sand paper to smooth the edge. If prefered, you can round edges off to make it smoother.

Put the circut board in to the container to make sure it fits. Then use epoxy or glue to glue the board in.

Wait until the Epoxy/Glue is dry, any test to make sure the USB stays in when you take it out of a computer. If not, wait longer.

Now you can paint the thumb drive. Use painter's tape to mark off the plug, or put a cap on it. Then spraypaint it in your desired color.
