Mark Your Canvas
Using your ruler, mark the center of the canvas and ¾ inch from the edge of the canvas.
Make a Triangle
Using 3 strips of the 10cm long tape, make a triangle in the middle of the canvas, using the mark as a guide for placement.
Clean the Lines
Using the box cutter, follow the lines of the triangle to keep them crisp.
First Placement
Using the two strips of 5cm tape, angle them downward from the bottom corners of the triangle
Using two strips of 10cm, make a diamond shape off the 5cm tape. The bottom mark on the canvas is where your point should be.
Going Up
Using two strips of 8cm tape, go straight up from the end of the 5cm tape.
Next Triangles
With 2 strips of 6cm tape, go from the 5cm to the 8cm tape.
With 2 strips of 8cm tape, go from the 8cm tape to the top of the triangle
4cm Up
Using the 4cm strip, go up from the top of the triangle
Last Triangle
With the last two pieces of 10cm tape, go up from the 8cm tape to the top of the 4cm tape. The top mark on the canvas is where the top point should be.
Clean the Lines
With your box cutter, follow the lines of the tape and clean up corners.
Prep the Lines
Using white paint, apply a thin coat of paint over the edges of the tape. This helps with clean lines after removing the tape.
Dot Your Paint
With your paint of choice, dot your colours around the canvas.
Blend the Paint
Take your sponge and dab the paint, blending as you want.
Glitter
If you are going to add glitter, do so now when the paint is still wet.
Remove the Tape
After your paint has dried, begin taking off the tape.
Clean the Lines
If needed, go in with your white paint and clean up the lines.
Optional: Add Colour
If you want, you can paint the lines a different colour.
