♡ DIY Fairy Tree House Lamp Recycling TRASH ♡

In this video tutorial, I show you how I made a fairy tree house using aluminium foil, hot glue, paper clay, transparent plastic film and acrylic paint. It’s fun to make and you can use it as a decoration, secret hiding spot, or you can even turn it into a lamp by adding some battery operated LED candle lights.

Materials and tools:

Cardboard,

I start by cutting a cardboard to form the base of the house, I cut the cardboard in two or three shapes (according to the thickness of the cardboard) and I glue them superimposed using of hot glue. For the bottom of the house I used some pieces of egg cartons. Those are great for rock textures. I than cover them by aluminium foil and I glued them together and starting from that unusual shape I added pieces of cardboard and transparent plastic film piece by piece until I had a house multi-floor.

Secondly, by rolling a sheet of A4 paper and using small trapezoidal pieces of cardboard, one can create the spiral staircase.Always using aluminum and cardboard, I create plants and leaves.

After, I cover all the cardboard and aluminium foil, existing in the house, with paper clay. (I used "Das modelling material" but you can any paper clay or even a homemade paper clay). I don't use natural air dry clay, it will shrink and that will result in a lot of cracks around your jar. So paper clay is the best to use in this type of craft. I shape doors, windows, etc. Lastly, I add some ladybugs, mushrooms and other plants,..

I used acrylic paint for painting. You can use watercolors and watercolor crayons. It's up to you. In the end you can seal the paint using some matte spray varnish. You can place some battery LED lights under the house.
