Today I am going to show you how to redecorate an old mirror with flowers

Supplies

For this project you will need:

  • 5 small bouquets of fake flowers
  • Mirror
  • scissors (fingernail clippers)
  • hot glue gun

Prep Your Glue Gun

Plug in your glue gun and let it heat up. This usually takes only about 5 minutes to fully heat up.

Prep Your Flowers

Start removing the bulb of the flower from the stem. This can be done by taking scissors to the stem of the fake flower. Some fake flowers have a metal wire holding the flower together, to cut the wire you can use fingernail clippers.

Arrange Your Creation

Before gluing any flowers, arrange how you would like to glue your flowers down. Avoid leaving big gaps between the flowers and avoid putting flowers so close they obstruct the view of the mirror.

Apply Glue

Begin applying glue to the frame of mirror where you would like to put your flower

Place Flower

While your glue is still hot, place your remaining stem firmly in the glue. Press until flower is firmly in place. Press your finger in the center of the flower to avoid accidentally coming in contact with hot glue (ouch).

Repeat Until Finished

Repeat steps 4 and 5, until you have completely covered the frame of your mirror.
