DIY Front Knot Cropped T-Shirt
Give an old t-shirt some new love with this easy clothing mod.
Supplies
- T-Shirt
- Scissors
- Measuring Tape/Ruler
- Tape (Masking or Painters
Cut
Cut off the bottom hem of the shirt.
Don't worry if it is messy!
Create a Guide
Flip the shirt so it is face down.
Use the measuring tape or ruler to measure 4 - 5 inches (10 - 12 cm) up from the bottom and tape across the shirt in a straight line.
Cut Again
Cut up each side of the shirt until you reach your taped guide.
On the backside only, cut horizontally across the guide. This will leave you with a front flap.
Turn the shirt over, face-up, and mark the bottom center of the now "shirt-flap".
Starting from the center, cut diagonally toward each side of the shirt (where your original guide was) so that your flap is now a "V" shape.
Complete
Enjoy your new, more stylish, Front Knot Crop Top!
