In this instructable I will show you how to make the "God send" necklace from the TV show Heroes. I first got the idea when I saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0vqK09qRZc, and decided to make the necklace from Heroes. The project is very simple and can be completed in under an hour. Fell free to copy and use this in your Halloween Costume!

You will need:

-Necklace Design(see picture below)
-about a 2in. section of metal( I used part of a yard stick)
-Coping saw
-small file
-smooth sand paper
-string or chain
-Permanent Marker

Cutting It Out

First, print out the "F" shape and trace it onto the piece of metal with a sharpie or permanent marker. Then clamp it down and start cutting it out with the coping saw. Don't worry about rough edges, because you can file them out later.

Drill the Hole

Now, drill a hole into the top corner of the "F" shape. then move onto the next step

Smooth Out the Edges

Once you've drilled the hole, use a file and some sand paper to smooth out the cuts and edges. i also smoothed the top to make it textured which makes it look a lot better.

Attaching the String

Now attach some string and you have finished your necklace!
Ask if you have any questions regarding the build

Enjoy!
